this is so good. played it once a few months ago and I thought then, how good this is. his records are better played than anyone else, here. just a real treat to rediscover. it'll be on heavy rotation this weekend. sleep deprivation send sun rises and sun sets and late breakfasts and so it shall be.

Founder of the Neutral Ground parties alongside Hicham and more recently Serate, Brassac has been steadily making a name for himself over the last few years. A regular in his native Belgium and all around Europe, he’s forged a reputation as a consistently refined artist with a deep, eclectic collection. 

This mix is very much in that vein; traversing a number of genres with some bold, obscure selections but with a cohesive thread running through it.

Yela’s upbringing in England exposed him to a rich and vibrant music scene, igniting his passion for electronic music. His tireless digging through vinyl collections in search of abstract and unique tracks has allowed him to curate intriguing sets, in which he is known to explore the interconnectivity between a variety of different genres, tying his selections with elements of a tribalism, intricate percussion and a touch of cinematic flair. Six years ago, Yela returned to his hometown, Antwerp in Belgium where he recently co-founded the musical passion project Oridoo together with Hofmann. Over its first editions Oridoo has featured some promising upcoming local & international DJ’s behind the turntables and aims to deliver authentic electronic musical experiences from the heart.

Bringing a little slice of jungle sunshine in these winter months, next up we have a chunk of Vera's set from Bonanza 2024.

Recorded deep on the Sunday night, Vera took us on a proper trip deep into her acidic vortex. Unhurried, classy and psychedelic, Vera artfully guided our weary feet through the witching hour of the last night of the festival.

Chez has a style that is hard to put your finger on, as Rio 017 well demonstrates. Recorded on the opening night of Bonanza, Chez kicked the terrace into action with a chuggy but cheerful selection of swampy groovers. 

Moving seamlessly from heads down tech house to breaks and EBM-ish numbers, Rio 017 is peppered with flecks of acid, swaying basslines and plenty of character.
