This is the first mix uploaded to my own page in three years, and I'm delighted to finally be able to share it. It is also the first since the birth of my amazing daughter in 2023 - which has certainly affected how much time I have to do this, these days! 

Anytime I've recorded one of the three hour+ mixes that are on my page, I've felt that they perfectly encapsulated what my taste was all about at that time - and this one is no exception. It has genuinely been 14 months in the making, but I feel that it is all the better because of that.

It takes its time, working through some gorgeous deep tracks over the first hour, before shifting into darker territory - and the journey continues from there.

We go through many different flavours of progressive - light and dark, and various levels of energy - and from quite a wide period of time. It does move up through the gears as we go on, and there are some absolutely huge sounding tracks in the latter section.

I know how big an ask four hours of anyone's time is, especially in this day and age - and I am extremely grateful to any of you who are kind enough to take the time.

I'm always convinced that the latest mix I have done is my best, and that is very much the case here. I always try and make these mixes a proper journey. I hope that by the end of it, you'll feel that you've come a long way - and had a great time getting there.

One of my favorite quotes is ‘Words can only affect you to the degree in which you think they are true.’ Now, recently since I've been DJing more, I've been getting some messages saying you're not a real DJ or you're only getting these gigs because you have a lot of followers or you're the problem, you're what's wrong with the scene. And this used to affect me, but it absolutely does not affect me anymore because I know I am putting in the work. I am listening to every single Beatport release. I'm listening to every single promo that comes my way. I'm reaching out to my favorite up and coming producers to get my hands on unreleased music that nobody else has heard yet. When you put in the work, you stop worrying about the opinions of others and you focus more on your own progression. Sander Kleinenberg once told me that a great DJ listens to four thousand tracks and picks the best twelve he think the dancefloor will enjoy most. And that's all I'm focused on. I'm putting in the work. I know you guys are putting in the work too, and because of that, I think this week's mix is my best mix yet. And I really hope that you all enjoy it. Last year, Kasper Koman and I had the pleasure of playing a b2b set to open Het Sieraad in Amsterdam. I've been a long-time fan of Kasper's music, and after collaborating with him on our track Positive Power, it felt only natural to team up behind the decks as well. I normally don’t play this proggy, but with Kasper it was the perfect moment to dig into some of my favorite progressive house tracks—which I honestly love playing especially for opening sets. We both had a really fun night, and I hope that energy resonates with you all.
