I don't have the energy and usual angst so this song is a bit more calm (?) than usual. It's still sorta in the post-rock style -- but more inspired by calmer post-rock stuff like Explosions in the Sky, This Will Destroy You, and Mono. If you're not familiar with those bands, it just means there's less of the usual heavy hard rock guitar riffage. Still, I had fun playing extended clean sections for my guitar without distortion for once. This is the era of the "calmer" Laine. aka I-have-no-enemies laine.
