Electronic sound is not slowness or speed but both light and shadow, colors and patterns. It may not be black and white minimal buildings and straight lines. Now it's not futuristic. The grey future depicted in science fiction was changed in the making. Electronic music is harmonious, studious, and even. More so than almost everything that has come before. Almost everyone listens to it through it digitally permeating tv, ads, and mobile devices. This can only be better than music segmented into ballads, rock or classic. Which in turn segmented tastes into lethargic, frenetic or studious. Electronic music layers all past styles, often coherently, so that it's saying something brilliant and gentle, cohesive and coaxing, through it's tempo and speed of allegro beats and paced metrics. The pattern in the progression of stanzas is intricate and delightful; listen and celebrate. Here is probably where people artistically excel over all things machinated that came before! (Wo/man over machine.) We make culture in a digital world in this way and it is reciprocal, resonant and reflexive. It makes a metamodern world a tribe and cultural capital of civil everyday taste. Music becomes an art parallel to economics if, through technology, language, music and art converge and construct society like they have before and never before.
