This song heavily revolves around Chachi’s 1993 Lexus GS 300 which acted as a catalyst for his juvenile adventures. The verses in the song paint the pictures of his life in high school (working, being punished, skipping school, weed, having sex, gas money) while the 2nd half of the 2nd verse switches focus to a deeper side of life about evolution, creation, and reincarnation. The metaphor behind the hook is best explained as “i feel like our bodies are just like our cars right, and our souls are inside driving these bad boys til it dies out. Then we go get another one, over and over again until we reach our destination and no longer need a car/body anymore. So in this chorus my body is the Lexus here, and if a woman doesn’t see the beauty/greatness in me to ride along with me then she can just witness it as i drive away. The windows being tinted represents my extreme focus on my goals and my ability to block out distractions and remain solely focused on whats ahead of me not whats to the side or behind me, so I’m essentially just getting by on my instincts at this point. Then when I talk about i want to see you naked and all that, its deeper than flesh nahmean. Like yea I love the female body and as much as i respect your mind, I’m def trying to see that ass yadigg *laughs*. But beyond that I want to see you naked as in being your vulnerable true self without that mask you wear in public, because i took my mask off years ago when i was like 15 and this is the way to live (Im so naked in the world facing all my fears).
