Named after his late grandfather Birendra Nath Bose, "Biren" is Kami-O's first full length project and 2nd self release, after 2020s "Hara EP".

Musically, the album is an exploration of his Indian heritage, taking inspiration from various forms of traditional Indian music and combining them with his usual 140bpm style.

Starting out as an EP, the project quickly developed into a longer form concept as more ideas came to mind. To complete the project, an artwork was made by his mother and Anglo-Indian artist Helen Bose as a visual complement to the music.

Portugal’s @3wa lands on the UK’s long running Boka Records label. 3WA will be an artist familiar to some having released on other notable labels such as Crucial Recordings, Foundation Audio and Earth & Stone. On Boka’s 53rd vinyl release he drops two heavyweight tracks taking on a deep sea theme, with “SEA WITCH” and “WHALE”. This is deep, heavy dubstep just how we like it, with the atmosphere and swagger reminiscent of early DMZ. Pressed on Ltd (300) 10” vinyl and housed in a black disco featuring a unique metallic sticker design. Enjoy!
