He started his journey into electronic music as a devoted fan of Hardcore (Gabber), a genre he discovered in 1994 that left a deep mark on him. The raw power of Hardcore, its intense rhythm, and the unique energy of the style captivated him, quickly drawing him into the nocturnal world of raves.

In 1999, he discovered Techno—a true revelation for him. Inspired by pioneering artists of the Techno and Hardtechno scenes such as Miss Djax, DJ Rush, Vitalic, DJ Bold, and A. Paul, he began exploring this music with renewed energy. His musical interests broadened, expanding from the pure energy of Hardcore to the finesse and sonic diversity of Techno.

In 2004, Djé took his first steps as a DJ, seeking to merge the intensity of his Hardcore influences with the elegance and depth of Techno. He dedicated countless hours to his turntables, perfecting his mixes.

Soon, he started playing at birthday parties for friends in towns like Virton, Bertrix, Bouillon, Libramont, and Lavacherie.

Later, with some friends, they decided to organize a Free Party in the woods (Orgeo). The first event was a success, and they continued for two years. During this period, he refined his underground style, mixing Hardtek, Tribe, and Hardcore.

In 2007, he played at Tech Night in Bastogne, then in Hosingen and Lux (Pinetree Forest).

In 2008, his sets took on a more commercial flow, incorporating House and Techno, but still occasionally featuring Hardtech-Schranz.

By 2010, he performed at events like Neffe Électro Part One, Fishbach for Tech, and Bois-de-Stradtbredimus (Luxembourg).

In 2011, he played at Free @ Assenois, Rossart, Neffe Électro Part II, Free @ Bertrix, Bouillon, Jéhonville, and Ath.

In 2012, he performed at Free Bertrix, Senssenrute, Orgeo, and Herbeumont. That year, he also launched the PsyloSound parties (three editions) and played at B-Day Marie (private event).

In 2013, he played at Suck My Pitch @ Virton, Hardtechno Edition Guest Dualizers @ City Dance Club (Luxembourg City), and Fish Garden Party @ Habay.

In December 2013, he placed second (public vote category) in the DJ contest at Dub Machine AFM Radio.

In 2014, he performed at Noir & Blanc (Virton), The One (Arlon), Le Pachis (Habay), a Free Party for the T-Ka-Lé Sound System, and Factory 12 @ Foetz (formerly Double Douce - Luxembourg).

By 2012, Mycelium had already gained recognition for delivering Hardtechno & Frenchcore sets that kept the crowd stomping.

Meanwhile, under the alias PsylocibZ, he focused on Techno & Dark sounds at over 135 BPM.

Today, Djé stands out in the Techno and Hardtechno scene, infusing his sets with a dual influence that merges the raw intensity of Hardcore with the rhythmic depth of Techno. With powerful and authentic sounds, he captures the essence of his years of experience and an unrelenting passion for electronic music.

Under the name Voltage Beats, Djé is now a Hardcore and Techno producer. His project fully embodies both his roots and his musical evolution, offering productions that blend the strength of Hardcore with the sonic richness of Techno.
