For this mix, she slows the tempo down a bit, digging into the bass and broken beats to create a ponderous churn, channeling the feeling of having something important to say while being uncertain how. It is, in her own words, "A very Club Catalog Mix" :)

DJ Papaya is a Philadelphia-based DJ exploring an eclectic palate of leftfield and bass-driven club music and downtempo and ambient sounds. They are the co-founder of the club night Chrysalis and the experimental music series Spindrift, as well as a resident on Great Circles radio.
