This smash of a track and guaranteed floor filler has been doing the rounds as a promo on the underground, Niall Redmond from the digital  groove on RTE pluse (national radio) aired it first and since then its been played by a few others. Looking to be aired also on ADE this year. Big shout out to 'The House Crew - All We Wanna Do Is Dance' which was originally released back 89 on Production House Records. They were the label behind acts like Baby D. A fantastic contemporary house  track and a fine tribute to these classic oldskool house legends. Funky house breaks cool ethereal synths and a great vibe all round we give you 'Movin' by Richie Bradley.

Coup d’état is a new collaborative project from Australia’s Kane Ikin and Harvey Sutherland. Though one may try to surmise the fruits of this collaboration through the artists’ respective back catalogues, the crucial endeavour that Coup d’état embodies is less to do with capitalizing on their differences than it is with creating a platform for their mutual aesthetic interests. Ikin’s proclivity for vast abstraction tempers, and at times engulfs, Sutherland’s radiance to effect a record that is as overcast as it is iridescent. 

Ikin and Sutherland constructed Coup d’état’s first transmission over a twelve-month period between their individual projects and touring schedules. The wandering experimentation of these sessions makes room for Sutherland’s sombre side, found at the periphery of his early catalogue. Ikin’s rhythmic tendencies are given space, too, with the fractal ambience of his last album for 12k gesturing the mood. Last year’s mixtape for Blowing Up The Workshop indicates that his forthcoming work on Type and Latency Recordings should continue to chart this terrain. 

Alongside the propulsive, synthetic break-weight and slinky, drum machine minimalism, there is a note of deference to musique concrète as a rhythmic motivator. Never, though, does this give way to deconstruction: Coup d’état are firmly and unselfconsciously within the club. If anything, this deference ambivalently couches their obvious admiration for early experimental synthesis within an infinitely enveloping reverb-space. It’s here that the groove of Sutherland works best, and feels entirely renewed. With the collection of Coup d’état’s titles themselves evoking politics as a depressant, the low-slung, motorik commitment of each track registers as a kind of fortuitous escapism. 

Ikin and Sutherland take the ecstatic dysphoria of Basic Channel and shuffle it through Thomas Bangalter’s skulking night drives, leaving enough woozy polyrhythmic mist to cloud the destination. Eventually one realises that the record takes its cues from an alternate universe where the liner notes to Nosferatu OST reveal Giorgio Moroder as the composer.

Raw machine funk from an intergalactic mind - Hakim Murphy brings us two contrasting sides of classic analog jams, Chicago style. On the A-side, ‘Toms From Space’ and ‘Bgstyle’ both have a melodic nostalgia, the former with pads and drum accents that are almost conversational, the latter’s ringing synth lines cleaving more to the Jamal Moss school of machines-gone-wild, but still in an introspective mood. The B-side is a heavier affair, ‘StompsB’ coming at you with a barrage of snares, claps and toms that will tickle the more adventurous dancers out there. By ’TF3_2’ the machines are in pure revolt, battery draining and sounds escaping in fits and starts – avant-garde Chicago house, no questions asked.

Lost Trax embody the idea of underground techno. The shadowy group, members unknown, began their music careers over 20 years ago. Output may be low, but quality is high; the style being no compromise techno brilliance. And that’s what’s on show here. Kick drums and squirming acid bars are at the core of “Faith”, a track where soaring strings shift and reshape. The chiselled claps and barbed bass of “Flatliner” follows, taking its cue from the heyday of Detroit. A watery world of analogue abstraction greets the listener on the flip, “Lost” being an atmospheric journey into to the squelching swamps of the TB303. Sniping beats introduce the lush tones of “Renderer.” Blurring the lines of electro and techno the track is an elegant end to an EP of deep and dense layers.

It’s fair to say that Boris Bunnik has made an impact in his short career. In less than a decade this dutch man, under monikers like Conforce and Versalife, has scaled Electro and Techno with subtle ambient touches and IDM echoes. And that’s exactly what he’s doing for the Singularity EP. Lush pads and flowing bars punctuated by crisp percussion, “Shine Eye” sets the scene. “Autobots” adopts those same brittle beats, this time using them to send dreaming strings skyward. Northern winds swirl around the colder chords of “MILnet”, chords that dawn into absorbing swirls of “Transgenics.” Masterful machine music.

Versalife - Singularity EP

Michal Poncar started his playing in 1993 under a name DJ Face. In that times it was just in small places near Prague. As an eager Radio 1 listener he met Béla Némeshegyi and very soon he started to write reviews for Béla..s Pareniste server under a nickname Myclick.

In 1999 he was also contributing with reviews of new records to Tripmag magazine thanks to Honza Babka who was editor in chief in that time. One year later, after his work for Trance.cz server, Mellow with Dan Kafka offered him a collaboration with Techno.cz.

After reviews with unbelievable 13.000 types he is enjoying writting of voluminous reports from the events he took part in. He is preparing news from the world of dance music for this website and publishes DJ beginners..sets. Since 2004 you can hear him two times a week on
Akropolis Internet Radio in programmes Techno.cz on Akropolis Radio and Techno.cz In Da Mix where he is interviewing DJs and mixing live sets right in studio.

House in all its periods was his favourite. But there was basic change at the end of 2001 and the beginning of 2002. Then he was contacted by <a href="http://www.lucasross.net" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Lucas Ross</a> the guitar player, Mataro purchased electronic percussion and Face 2 Face project had got its roughcast. Every performance took place with different guests and with different repertory. Five musician formation Face 2 Face with records and live instruments combination was performing beside small clubs also at Sazava Fest, Creamfields and several times in Roxy Club.

DJ Face currently enjoys first of all nu disco, deep house, dubby house and minimal house and an ideal performance is to him 
a nights Unplugged @ House boat U Bukanyra, House 4 Adults @ 2. patro with DJ Cubik, Groove Bar and Moovement with DJ Diom, Bar v Krymsky with MC Manda, Luft Cafe and Moje Muza with Pavel Aeling and Namax.


At the beginning of 2010 the circle closes and his big dream comes true... Side by side with his friends who he called about his musical wishes to the Radio 1 in the mid of 90th,
