This sixth label release offers a striking pair of reconstruction mixes of “Bodies”, by Scotland-born and UK-based vocalist and songwriter – CiCi Hunter.  Vested Recording label head and Chicago-based artist, RJ Pickens, takes the reigns of the Early Morning Reconstruction and turns in a mix laced with deep growling bass, driving percussion, melodic balance, thick vocal layers, and use of many of CiCi’s original track elements – with a vibe perfect for an underground club or an outdoor sunrise set.  Chicago-based progressive rising-star, Jeff Ozmits, turns in a simply sublime, slightly higher tempo melodic beast of a mix, perfect for a peak hour progressive set, complete with powerful synth lines, a more uptempo vibe, and a guitar line that will give you proper goosebumps, aptly titled the Late Night Reconstruction.  Dive in.

James and Archie first crossed paths in their early twenties at a party in Oxford, where they instantly bonded over their shared love for electronic music. Heavily influenced by the 2000s progressive house and liquid drum & bass they grew up listening to, the now London-based duo have spent the last decade honing a sound of their own, blurring the lines between house, techno & progressive. 

My Friend, as they call themselves, started as a passion project & exploded onto the scene when Danny Howard featured their unsigned and unreleased tracks on Radio 1's 'Future Fire' in 2018. This pivotal moment marked the start of an impressive journey that has seen them tour the globe and release on some of dance music's most respected labels, cementing their status as one of house music’s most exciting rising stars. 

Renowned for a discography that masterfully weaves euphoric melodies over deep, driving basslines, their music consistently delivers exhilarating tracks destined for the dancefloor, earning them a loyal following and praise from industry heavyweights. With their sound evolving and momentum building, 2025 is set to be a defining year for the playful pair.
