Originally released in 2011 London-based imprint Fuzz Club are reflecting on the bands extensive back-catalogue and repressing the 12” with a brand new CD reissue. ’Delirium’ harks back to The Underground Youth’s earlier psychedelic sound, offering minimalistic and bluesy psychedelia at its best. The album is an unapologetic ode to Craig’s musical heroes, dining on an influence from the likes of Spacemen 3, The Velvet Underground and BJM in its haunting psych instrumentals and beautifully crafted vocals and lyricism that fall somewhere between Bob Dylan and Ian Curtis. Duo né en 2013 et composé de Nadia B. pour les vocalises théâtrales et de Loïc V. pour les instrumentales, la guitare, la basse, autres bruits et grincements....
Le groupe est mu par la même envie d’électrifier des textes alliant poésie noire et sombres histoires de vie, entre nuages planants et couloirs caverneux, frôlant la corde sensible de l'émotion et de la mélancolie.
Extrait du blog http://www.benshon.com/concerts : "Le gros point fort qui se dégage de Hanging Gardens, c'est vraiment l'ambiance qu'ils imposent sur scène, grâce aux facultés théatrales de Nadia, qui usait déjà bien avant ses semelles sur les planches, et grâce au travail sonore de la guitare et des bandes sons de Loïc qui complètent de façon cohérente l'univers textuel sombre de la chanteuse. Il y a des passages ou l'ensemble peut procurer une sorte de malaise au corps ou à l'esprit et c'est selon moi tout l'intérêt d'un tel projet musical.
Donc s'ils passent dans le coin, n'hésitez pas à aller à leur rencontre !"
