Now a new record in our collection begins — with disturbing sounds.

It's time to remember how goosebumps feel and open your mind to encounter Lisa Pechenevskaya — an artist, resident of the St. Petersburg club Ugly and promising sound producer. Hiding from our attentive sights, she managed to record an album of her own vocal works and publish it on the Ural label "Faktura"(@faktura_ural) under the alias Ficus. Liza's work is a mixture of various genres with a touch of gray Petersburg sky, hateful inner emptiness and unshakable faith in beauty.

There definitely are differences between the author's music and the material used in DJ sets, but the mood is similar everywhere — pleasant melancholy and warm thoughts against a gray background. Inside the record you will find an indescribable musical canvas with voices, rhythmic frenzy and deep, almost tangible, synth and orchestral passages. 
And so for an hour.

Время вспомнить что такое мурашки и открыть разум для знакомства с Лизой Печеневской — художницей, резиденткой петербургского клуба Ugly и начинающей саундпродюсеркой, которая, скрывшись от наших внимательных взглядов, успела записать альбом собственных вокальных работ и издать его на уральском лейбле Фактура под алиасом Ficus. Творчество Лизы это смесь из всевозможных жанров с примесью серого петербургского неба, ненавистной внутренней пустоты и непоколебимой веры в прекрасное. 

Отличия между авторской музыкой и материала, используемого в диджей-сетах определенно есть, но настроение везде одинаковое — приятная меланхолия и светлые мысли на сером фоне. Внутри записи вас ждёт неподдающееся описанию музыкальное полотно с голосами, ритмическим безумием и глубокими, почти осязаемыми, синтезаторными и оркестровыми пассажами. 

И так целый час.

Polina @ap0llinaris is a dj, musician, promoter, psychic and woman, who knows how to jump deep.

Polina's work is a crossing between various genres: from industrial, tribal and rhythmic noise, to trance, tribe and acid. She works at the intersection of musical art and pagan sacrament, which interweaves skillful manipulation of various rhythms and genres with the role of the leader of the ritual with full responsibility for the mental and dance state of the listeners.

(To better understand this modern shamanism, you need to turn back to prehistoric times, in which women playing drums around the first pyres were the real intermediaries between outer worlds, and the role of leaders of such primitive mysteries was given exclusively to them.)

Polina’s recent project “amalgama” deserves some special attention - it's a series of events and a micro-media about non-trivial culture and its movements. "amalgama" has already established itself with its mission to expand the musical range of visitors and party organizers in order to bring real talented naturals from the shadows of the underground and thereby to widespread the one true culture.
