So this title probably deserves an explanation.  If your childhood took place in the 80's or early 90's you may recall those books that came with a cassette tape, and you'd read along with the tape.  "Turn the page at the sound of the chime!"  Well I had one of the same title, and there was this one riff in it that stuck in my head for life.  It could be that I'm remembering it all wrong since it's been so many years, but the distorted riff of the intro is taken from what I can remember of "The Untold Legend of Batman"!

I wrote the bulk of these riffs while out walking my dog.  Possibly while high.  A couple of the other riffs were pilfered from an unfinished song of mine from when I was 17!

Canine Minion

This has been an on again off again project for most of my adult life.  I have been in a lot of different bands playing various instruments but this project has always remained in the background.  The drums and synth sounds were composed using the MTV Music Generator.  Yes a cheesey and archaic program but I find the video gamey sound somehow quite charming.  The guitars and bass guitar are live, adding a more natural sound to the synthetic accompaniment.   I have much work to do to record this massive bank of songs I have and it will be slow going.  One song at a time.  More will be added whenever I can find time to work on it between my full time job and my fatherly duties.  Enjoy!  P.S.
