Hi Ku

Nadia Struiwigh is a producer, live artist, DJ and resident of Tresor.  Her music spans ambient, electro and techno and has been featured on labels like Nous’klaer Audio, Dekmantel and Central Processing Unit. In 2024 she founded the label Distorted Waves focussing on hardware-centered, more experimental works. Her DJ sets explore driving and psychedelic techno, while also delving into deeper sounds, while her live sets are known for their unique sonic improvisation. 

“An ode to the sounds and storytelling I’ll continue to explore from here on out.
After the pandemic, I felt a bit unmoored. Spending time in Australia distanced me from the European scene, and I found myself feeling quite lost. Once I returned, I initially focused on Techno, but soon realized my true foundation has always been experimental music and narrative-driven performances—whether in my own productions, live sets, or DJ sets. I’m grateful to have rediscovered my creative center, and I’m excited to share this next chapter. I’m fully back, with more jungle and ambient experimental releases on the way! Jo Johnson’s explorations in sound have ranged from free-form punk with Huggy Bear in the 90s, to underground techno in the 00s, and, for the last decade, deeply expressive electronic minimalism that pays tribute to the many women who pioneered this genre. She has released with respected labels including Further Records and Mysteries of the Deep in the US and Frequency Domain and Castles in Space in the UK. Her latest project, Alterations, is a 'slow' album that she is recording and self-releasing track-by-track throughout 2025. 

For the fourth edition of Waves, Jo Johnson presents a mix of absolute celestial beauty, building delicately with deep and lush ambiance into a trip of interstellar melodies, this is the perfect way to start your week off right.

Ambisen Warm-up w/ Barefoot

For our March introspective radio show, we had the pleasure of welcoming an old friend of ours, Casper Clark aka Volte-Face to take you through two hours of ambient & downtempo selections from his sizeable collection of music for curious ears 💫

As expected, things got pretty interesting on air at Netil Radio that Thursday afternoon and we are so happy to finally be sharing the recording of the show with you today. It’s a smooth voyage departing from the misty ports of spacious drones and sailing patiently into the deep ocean waters of progressive half time and dusty alternative experiments ⛵️

Volte-Face, a moniker of BleeD promoter/label-head Casper Clark, was a fixture on the European techno scene from 2014-2019, with his own productions (also as Rote alongside Daniel Avery) appearing on labels such as Semantica, Phorma and Non-Series His BleeD imprint also released material from the likes of Wata Igarashi, DJ Nobu, Refracted and Svreca, and he played regularly for the likes of Berghain, fabric, Tresor and Khidi . After an enforced hiatus , he's started to rear his head again with a recent mix for Oslated and a forthcoming ambient session for Deep Breakfast Series. He's also been hosting his own Through The Wreckage ambient mixtape series on Soundcloud, which is updated regularly.
