My Latest Failure Bio // Treading the boards since the summer of 2017 having been inspired by Hardcore Punk and influenced by Pop Punk, Hardcore Injected Punk trio My Latest Failure have provided us with sing-a-long shouty choruses and punchy verses over the past 5 years with their 2019 debut EP “Failures, Vol.1” recorded and mixed by Sore Teeth vocalist and guitarist Ross Walker. That features single “Lies” which is approaching 4.5k streams across all platforms as well as appearing on Swamp Records compilation “Rituals In Sound by Chaos Collective”. Their anthemic single “Disappointment” shortly followed being described as “Definitely their best work, I can’t decide if it sounds like sick of it all trying to be good riddance or the other way round with consumed thrown in the mix” and “Absolute banger”.

Not being ones to sit on their laurels during the Pandemic My Latest Failure released a sophomore EP in 2021 titled “Failures, Vol:2” with MetalNoise.Net describing dark humoured single “Voices” as Catchier than an STD in Ibiza” as well as putting together a Facebook video series “A-Z of Failures”.

February 2022, My Latest Failure returned to the stage and since they have headlined shows at the iconic Blondies in London, The Cave in Addlestone and TheQueens Head in Brixton. The end of the year saw the “Bad Dreams” with Thoughts Words Action describing it as “showcases the progress of a band who already sounded good but now sounds even better”.

2023 has seen My Latest Failure headline the Camden Rocks “All Dayer” at the Fiddler’s Elbow as well as the world-famous Dublin Castle in Camden.

Bad Dreams is one of our first songs written for My Latest Failure, originally recorded in 2019 for Failures vol:2 but didn't make the cut. We revisited the track with Ross Walker Productions in the summer of 2021 and was very happy with the outcome.

Originally named Tracer (No Mates) as reference to my mates girlfriend but after losing touch with him I renamed it Ex Friend of a Friend. "Ex friend" being we are not Friends anymore and "of a friend" because his girlfriend was never a mate. 

After song lyric adjustments this song is about friends that aren't really your friend as they thrive on others misfortune. Nice and friendly in front of your face but pull the nasty strings behind your back. Basically backstabbing.

A four piece Post Hardcore / Hardcore band from Middlesex/London which were formed by Chris Underhill and Mark Perilous in 2011.

Under Dead Stars were originally a Punk Rock band with Mark on lead vocals and guitar, Chris on backing vocals and guitar, Andy Hale on bass and Adam Plestina on drums. My Latest Failure Bio // Treading the boards since the summer of 2017 having been inspired by Hardcore Punk and influenced by Pop Punk, Hardcore Injected Punk trio My Latest Failure have provided us with sing-a-long shouty choruses and punchy verses over the past 5 years with their 2019 debut EP “Failures, Vol.1” recorded and mixed by Sore Teeth vocalist and guitarist Ross Walker. That features single “Lies” which is approaching 4.5k streams across all platforms as well as appearing on Swamp Records compilation “Rituals In Sound by Chaos Collective”. Their anthemic single “Disappointment” shortly followed being described as “Definitely their best work, I can’t decide if it sounds like sick of it all trying to be good riddance or the other way round with consumed thrown in the mix” and “Absolute banger”. 

Sharing stages with a wealth of bands from the Worlds of Hardcore, Punk and Metal has served to sharpen up their live show and ensure they can hold their own with everyone from Schemata Theory and The Freudian Session to WEAPONRY and Transients to Janus Stark and Glitchers while being a firm favourite at one day events like Sunday Tea Time Hardcore at The Holroyd Arms in Guildford.

Not being ones to sit on their laurels during the Pandemic My Latest Failure released a sophomore EP in 2021 titled “Failures, Vol:2” with MetalNoise.Net describing dark humoured single “Voices” as Catchier than an STD in Ibiza” as well as putting together a Facebook video series “A-Z of Failures”.

February 2022, My Latest Failure returned to the stage and since they have headlined shows at the iconic Blondies in London, The Cave in Addlestone and TheQueens Head in Brixton. The end of the year saw the “Bad Dreams” with Thoughts Words Action describing it as “showcases the progress of a band who already sounded good but now sounds even better”.

2023 has seen My Latest Failure headline the Camden Rocks “All Dayer” at the Fiddler’s Elbow as well as the world-famous Dublin Castle in Camden.
