This track is made from a tape i found where i had tried to record songs from my project Domestikation onto tape with a cheap recorder. i learned that i just needed a better deck and bought one. later i found the same tape and decided i would wipe it and record tanner dyson/paying with pennies’s discography on it since the recordings were terrible quality and served no perpose. but i decided i would save them digitally, make a copy, and distort and bend the audio into some harsh noise. this is a further part of my recent frenzy of making something out of any audio recording that could be deleted and “recycling tracks”. same thing with my trans day ep and many donestikation releases

but in actuality. i made this one from taking the room static in between recordings on the tape and distorting it. i feel like this one has the most feel and emotion to it, but i cant put my finger on how to describe it.

I thought the concept of extratone was really cool. I basically was just trying to see if i could manipulate the drums into 1000 bpm since i could only get 250. i would download the drumtrack and then speed it up by 250 bpm again, repeat until its 1000 bpm. fun experiment

I was testing out a live setup where i hook up my phone to a karaoke machine, clamp on a 1/4” mic also plugged into the karaoke machine, and then play a detuned bass through a honeytone mini amp on top of the karaoke machine. Title inspired from Insepsy song “Goregrind smash the Fas-cist)”

The test here was to see just how noisy i could get a guitar without making it prepared guitar. i tuned it to drop C and messed with my amp knobs and distortion pedal until i got a bassy, thick, distorted tone.

I wanted to see if my Conga could be used as a snare as well as test out a minimalist drumset of a hihat, conga, and small but low tom used as a bass drum. for bass, i tried to again make the noisiest tone without just loosenting the strings. i also tried playing around with with pitch shifting bubbles. it was weird
