The first ZeeZout Co-Orientations Mix Series of the year is by one of our all time favourites, @san-soda!  

San Soda, also known as Nicolas Geysens, is known in underground music circles as a real record collector. This shows in his predictably unpredictable DJ sets, which are made up of carefully chosen gems after years of crate digging around the world. 

In this mix, Nicolas gets us through 80 minutes of cheerful sounds mixed with disco, enchanting influences and classic house. His selection and mixing skills are definitely a sense of cohesion.

We are really glad to welcome back our friend MIMID from Marseille. As a vinyl records passionate and insatiable "crate digger", he decided to co-found the Deep House label named wewillalwaysbealovesong with Bananna Wintour and Mokic. Since 2015 they signed well respected producers as John Beltran, Tevo Howard, Sébastien Bromberger, Art Of Tones, DJ Yellow, Melchior Sultana... His set, recalling the 90's rave spirit, was recorded last July at Baou x Jardins Suspendus alongside Leon Vynehall and Louise Chen.

For the 39th entry in the Fun Fun Mix series, we present dj Jacob Meehan, delivering this amazing mix recorded live at Zenner Club in Berlin on New Year's Day 2023. After relocating from Chicago to Berlin in 2016, Jacob has instigated some of his adopted city's most beloved queer events, particularly Buttons @radio-buttons and WHOLE Festival. His multitudinous background with cultural production - hosting community radio, managing neighborhood restaurants, operating a contemporary art gallery, selling records at a legendary record shop, leading guided meditation sessions, & throwing disco parties in a gay porn theater - inform his attention to detail for the experiential & ephemeral, proving that creativity is everywhere. The downtime of the pandemic afforded Meehan the opportunity to dive further into music production; expect new releases from him in 2023!

After a busy few weeks having plenty of festival fun, our podcast is back and rolling with self-certified 'rave mom' Partok next up. He's played standout sets at Glastonbury and Panorama Bar this summer and still regularly returns home to Israel to play all-night-long sets. It is there, as a resident at the Tel Aviv club The Block that he first made an impression many years ago. Since then his endless explorations of all forms of techno have earned him an international following. 

Partok brings his own distinctive party sound to our series this week with an electrifying mix of peak-time fun. He packs plenty in, too, dextrously switching up the mood as he weaves through evocative and emotional sounds that aren't afraid of a tender melody or soulful vocal, but are always powered by crisp drums. From banging grooves and brain-frying synth textures to psychedelic loops and hands-in-the-air piano chords, it's a high-definition, big-hearted selection that leaves you feeling good.

He became famous in the Marseille area by co-creating the 'Chineurs de Marseille' collective, in which he djs as well since 2 years now.

 You might have noticed him in the South of France together with Boo Williams, Mood II Swing, Marcellus Pittman or Nick V...Being a proud owner of over 3500 vinyls, he recently co-founded the label Wewillalwaysbealovesong, which is the logical continuation of his unconditional love of the vinyl format. His main aim when behind the turntables ? to surprise his audience for hours! Don't be surprise if after playing Acid music, Sir Mimid B. drops a few Disco tracks...
