Bristol-based, New York-bred Angelica Allen crafts dreamy yet danceable pop. Combining deeply soulful vocals, ethereal harmonies, poetic lyrics, and 80's influenced soundscapes, she produces a brand of Electronic R&B that is equally reminiscent of Phil Collins and Peter Gabriel as it is Janelle Monae. Following the success of her previous work-—including shows supporting Tegan and Sara, Solange, and Blood Orange as well as features in Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, and VICE—Angelica retreated to write her first full-length album. Fully delving into production while the world around her seemed to tumble into chaos during the pandemic, Angelica found a new voice and created a sacred space to nurture her distinctly eclectic vision that is equal parts sonic meditation and rallying war cry.
