Not because fate is slow,
but because expectation rushes ahead
and waits in the wrong place.

Arrival is punctual
only to the present.

not because reality is thin,

already filtered.

Edges softened.
Distances implied.

the part we forget to count—
is the perceiver’s point of view.

Not perspective as opinion,
but as position.

Where you stand
determines what can reach you.

Reality is not divided into facts and illusions.
It is divided into:

Miss either,
and the equation collapses.

because perception arrived early.

because viewpoint was unexamined.

just a misalignment
between timing and stance.

Uncertainty persists
because position keeps changing.

Meaning stays alive
because viewpoint moves.

Certainty fails
because it refuses to relocate.

The refined truth hiding in your line is this:

Reality is mostly perception,
but meaning lives in where the perceiver stands
when perception arrives.

That tenth matters more than the nine.
