Soo...one day as I was waking up, I noticed things from plenty of hip hop folks refusing to both wear a mask or get the vaccine because they wanted to "breathe freely". This reminded me a lot of when rappers would proudly align themselves with Trump for the sake of trying to protect their monetary interests.

One day, someone from Van Buren crew was like "are you going to let hip hop die on ______"? My retort is this: if it means that cishet males provide the same shitty ass takes and actions, then perhaps hip hop should be turned over on life support to better doctors so it WON'T die.

In this rant, I tackle rape, homophobia, corrupt "teachers", indie rap pretense, toxic masculinity, respectability and the fact that I may have been right in skirting my past submission to rap's popularity, due to what it has come down to. (In the past, I thought about not doing the music I do and switching to rap. Thank God I didn't.)
