My track “Right Right” is an homage to my parents’ generation of club-goers and my relationship with the music they partied to. I could probably say it started when my parents gave me an MP3 player loaded with a ton of their music and a crash course on Limewire. Or you can say it was always there since the very beginning 😂. I really don’t know.

Been a minute since I’ve recorded one of these flowy flow sets. Played a lil bit of everything in this one. From some oldie but goodie favorites to some very recent releases to some tracks from ya boy himself. I got to touch a lil’ bit of everything I’ve been feeding off of recently.

One of my own tracks that I played in this mix ‘Turn Off The Lights’, an edit of a Nelly track of the same name, is coming out on Tech House Miami as a free download. So glad I get to release my music w/ my friends, warms my got dang heart 🥰

Ricardo Gonzalez (CARDO - MIA) was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico but calls Miami his home while focusing on perfecting his studio craft. He is currently a Humans Alike Resident and was featured during their Desert Hearts Miami Music Week showcase, with his next show at 1-800-Lucky in September. He has also released edits and EPs with independent and local labels like Tech House Miami, Sugaro Music, Moonwalk Music Group, and Vantablak Records, with more releases to come this year. CARDO dabbles in a variety of genres but enjoys mostly playing and producing deep tech and European-style minimal. CARDO has played at several iconic venues across Miami such as 1-800 Lucky, M2 Miami, ATV Records, The Trip, Le Rouge, Treehouse, and Hyde Beach Miami solo and as part of a duo named PLOT, and has opened up for artists like Max Chapman, Rossi., Diplo, John Summit, Cloonee, Max Styler, Gordo, Daniel Orpi, Ardalan, Tim Baresko, and more.

CARDO (MIA) is a Miami-based DJ and producer whose signature sound blends deep tech grooves with European minimal aesthetics. Born in Puerto Rico and raised in South Florida, CARDO emerged from Florida's underground, debuting at "The Lab" in Gainesville before joining a renegade festival collective that traveled the Southeast.

Now a resident with Humans Alike, CARDO's music has landed on labels like Humans Alike and Original Label from Miami, Sweet Milk Records from Italy, Sugaro Music and Moonwalk Music Group from Central/South America, and Eavesdrop and Vantablak Records from Florida.
