The ship ground to a halt, its heavy machinery producing a loud creak as it slowed to a complete standstill. Screams echoed through the air and panic spread across the faces of those on board; everyone turned quickly on foot exploring every corner of the vessel to find the root of the problem. In the belly of the ship the glistening metallic engines rumbled, every man would need to work harder and faster than ever before to keep the ship afloat. But looking out to sea another fearful enemy loomed on the horizon, a storm that would take no prisoners...

For his next release Leipzig-based producer and DJ Credit 00 lands on London label Out The Flat with a four tracker that twists and turns through dark hypnotic house, acid and electro. The Rat Life Records boss has become known for his diverse productions, taking inspiration from EBM and acid to ghettotech, new wave and Detroit techno, which have made their way to labels like Bordello A Parigi, Pinkman, New York Haunted and Rat Life's sister label Uncanny Valley.

PREMIERE: Credit 00 - Harder Faster Slower [Out The Flat]

Long time friend, affiliate and now also co-operator of O*RS Pandaro finally unveils his debut EP. ‚Parasocial Activity‘ was a long time in the making and oh boy - it was worth the wait. The release contains two originals as well as two remixes by Filburt and Credit 00. 
The title track pulls you in utilizing breaky drums, a heavy bassline and long-drawn-out delay synths until it culminates with the help of some ravy chords. ‚Dune‘ straightens things out and marches forward to slightly darker areas of the dancefloor while its distinctive pad sound cloaks everything like a cosmic sandstorm.  
The Filburt remix of ‚Parasocial Activity‘ ditches the broken structure of the original and replaces it with a linear but tense arrangement. It takes some time for this gem to unfold but when the bassline finally hits you can practically feel Filburt’s 20+ years experience as a dancefloor conductor. Credit 00 takes a contrarious approach as he transforms the straight 4/4 beat of ‚Dune‘ into the breakiest of tracks you will hear on this release. The highlight here being very catchy synth lines he uses to top the ever simmering bassline.

After the first week of lockdown, we were forced to postpone all of our scheduled releases, so we started thinking about a new V.A.
Our inspiration behind it was the mutual support to overcome the lockdown and the discomfort it brought. As such, we started to contact the artists we love asking them to collaborate.
The result is astonishingly homogeneous, even if we were locked in our homes thousands of kilometers away from each other.
As a record label, we recognize the importance of not interrupting our work, to support independent artists during this global crisis.

We may be apart, but we're going in the same direction. We are in Parallel Routes.
