Starting the brand new year of 2024, Summer Melody welcomes the melodic veteran UK-based Tristan Armes, with the wonderful 2-track EP Pilgrim!

Tristan Armes has previous remixed Mekao, Caira and Leonety respectively for the label, and we are overjoyed to see him back with an original EP debut on Summer Melody. Starting with the title track, featured on his own guest mix last year as an ID, Pilgrim features his own signature and warming sensation with the beautiful piano melodies and moving chords, in the same line of vibes to his previous tracks Halcyon and Farplane.

On the other hand, the second track Icarus provides another melodic experience. With the vibes are on par to his previous tracks Lights and Only Now, the track combines the soothing and melodic elements, makes it mesmerising as similar to the butterfly itself - the common blue Icarus, slightly fragile within the diversity of nature yet beautiful with its blue variety.

We hope you enjoy this wonderful first 2024 release of Summer Melody, with the wonderful EP debut from Tristan Armes!

Finnish DJ and producer SØNIN kicks off the year with ‘Nano / Nightlife’.

Anton Sonin, aka SØNIN, cut his teeth as a producer in a studio space in Helsinki, shared with compatriots Super8 & Tab, Yotto and Supermodels From Paris - he also worked with Super8 & Tab on their iconic Anjunabeats single ‘Black Is The New Yellow'. He’s since released on the label as part of the Rising EP series, contributed to gardenstate's 'Inspirations' album, remixed Super 8 & Tab's 'Mercy' of part of the ten-year anniversary celebrations for their iconic ‘Empire’ LP and has added a tasteful selection of singles to the Anjunabeats catalogue over the last few years.

2023 was a fruitful year for SØNIN. He collaborated with Yotto on ‘Let You Go’ from Yotto’s ‘Growth’ album, which Joris Voorn remixed later that year, and dropped his debut EP on Anjunabeats, the ‘Affection EP’, which earned support from Leftwing : Kody, Ferry Corsten, Ronski Speed, Farius, Andrew Rayel and more. Two standout tracks on the EP, ‘Passion’ and ‘Waterfall’, flew up the Beatport Top 100 Trance chart, landing at #1 and #3 respectively. 

On SØNIN’s latest double A-side, the 136 bpm 'Nano' brings trance fans the fast mainstage energy they've been looking for, while 'Nightlife' slows things down and draws in the darker influences from melodic techno.

Progressive house duo ANUQRAM drop their first release of the year, the ‘On My Knees EP’.

ANUQRAM have come a long way since their releasing debut Anjunabeats single, ‘Echoes’ with PROFF, in October 2021. The duo have since become a regular fixture on the Beatport Top 10 Progressive House Chart, with their latest Anjunabeats releases  'Get On', ‘Don’t Stop’ and ‘Bermondsey Bender’ (ANUQRAM Remix) climbing to #2, #4 and #9 respectively.

Having carved out a sonic signature of their own, these tracks soon caught the attention of industry heavyweights, earning support from the likes of Armin van Buuren, Vintage Culture, David Guetta, Oliver Heldens, Cosmic Gate, Farius and beyond. 

The ‘On My Knees EP’ features collaborations with Ash Nova and Dulus, and includes tracks that some fans might recognize from ANUQRAM’s ID-packed ABGT Guest Mix in back in December.
