Originating from the same fruit tree, most likely,
Both dropped into eternity
Which fell first?  Hardly a mystery
Two lives filled with constant misery 
A new beginning to a long, painful history
A sly fox, a being of ruse,
Dinno what path to use 
Games he played, scores of trickery,
To avoid shame and mockery,
Tricks and games got old soon enough 
Craved to move onto the happier zone
Tricks rarely gets you to a good ending
The fox and the wolf story ain’t the most pleasant
The foxy didn't blend well with the present 
Brought tears to the day's sorrow
But hey, don't you worry high clouds and sunshine tomorrow

Bleeding ears entering a world of believing
Forcing through the blockades of truth
Appearing like I used to in my youth
A never aging soul!
Unfortunately, peace does have a toll
But no matter what moving lifelong
Riding a colorful song

On the other side of the realm 
Descended from the elm
In a valley without wind,
Grinned,
A lone wolf, without a pack, 
Putting aside, considered whack!
Howling n singing to the moon 
Non-stop, from midnight till noon
A sincere call to a restless heart
Slowly drifting apart,
From an illiterate's dream, a never ending beam, 
With a headful of steam.
When the creatures promised,
To what seemed bluest 
They promised that, they would never quit 
Across the bumps in the road they hit 
If the sky turned dead
And their hands bled red

Looking up the sky, reflecting

A vast  space, filled with potential,

The fox and the wolf meet
The fox constantly chases, 
The wolf standing straight on his feet
The wolf, intrigued, asks the fox
What is he seeking, The fox ponders
Not used to questioning,
Adding a pause, replies quite strangely
His soul disappeared, vanished completely
Wolfy smiles profoundly
“Look, here's your soul”,
pointing at his chest as he awakens from his rest
Fox felt unusually strong, 
Putting his headphones on, 
Spinning to his new song!

The young Liverpool-based producer LING releases his debut EP on PAN & Visionist’s CODES label.

‘Attachment’ is a data-centric collection built from field and browser recordings, loosely exploring the themes
of habitual mental tendencies. “The idea that taking an instinctual interpretation of information potentially warps and distorts reality. If data triggers internal responses, it risks following a predetermined path that can stray from reality.”

The heavily processed sample material re-explores recordings collected from over the last 4 years. Reconstructed within sound collages across the record, they strive to find an independent voice but at times back away in order to grapple something else. Merging explorative futurist sounds, Ling’s glacial and at times glitchy constructions feature fleeting snippets of differing vocals or malfunctioning machines, whilst dipping into tentative, broken melodies. Loose references to UK culture and contemporary sounds are restructured, offering moments of something teasingly familiar before withdrawing into abstraction.

The EP was made in summer 2015 in Liverpool, mixed by Chris Pawlusek, mastered by Matt Colton at Alchemy, and features artwork by PWR Studio & Bill Kouligas with additional art by James Whipple.
