Likely familiar to anyone who wears their heart on their cardigan, Laura K forms part of Fortuna Pop'sters Tigercats. In her spare time she also plays in Jean K, Ski Saigon, Mikey Collins as well as finding moments to work on her own material. 'Apologise' is the result of some of that spare time. Though it kicks off like a Casio keyboard demo, by the minute mark it has slowly built into a swelling pop song.

Of the track Laura says "the song is about being insecure and anxious in a relationship; having negative thought patterns - not knowing if problems are real or in your head...classic! It’s also about not being sorry for your feelings."

The single is out on Postcard and digital download from Monday 4th December. The artwork was created by David Zacharis of the Smittens.

Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Charles A. Lewis crafts reflective indie rock that draws on laid-back psych, slacker pop and 70’s soft rock influences. Though Safe Travels is his first official release, he has been producing and writing music for decades. 

A native of Connecticut, Lewis is part of the bedroom artist generation, generally working solo, writing and making music that often sounds as personal and introspective as a diary entry. He moved to Queens in 2009 but most recently spent two years in Seattle where he began recording Safe Travels. 

Now back in New York after a few cross-country road trips, Lewis’ weekender sound is still evolving as he continues to collaborate with friends and his brother and musician, Ricky Lewis.
