Synthacide is an electronic musical group based out of Nashville, Tennessee. Their sound is best described as a mix of HipHop, Punk, and Electronica. The original members of the band are brothers, Drawls (Devin Myracle) and Jenkins (Bryan Myracle). According to them, the etymology of their band name comes from the idea of the music being dynamically "Synthetic", yet dark, hence Synthacide. 

   After throwing around ideas with music that differed drastically, they decided to start a band that met both of their musical tastes. From there, they began to write more lyrics and songs and promote themselves online. In due time, other members joined the band temporarily based on the original members' current location (Alabama, Arizona, Tennessee). 

   Synthacide's musical style has been described as "Electronic/Pop", and "Crunkcore", varying from song to song. According to the band, their musical influences are "everything that sounds good, put into one box and shaken up". They believe that mixing various styles together to create a new style is better than producing " the same old thing".
