This song was written by one of Australia's greatest songwriters, Archie Roach, in 1990 and was included in his first album “Charcoal Lane”.   I have seen Archie live many times – he gives such great performances that I was a bit dubious about posting my own version of his song.   I justify the posting on two grounds: one, this is not one of Archie's best known songs, and, two, I have done this song many times in small venues.

Transcendental meditation or cumulative life adversities may both lead
to ego death. For example, at the vantage point of crisis when no 
reprieve seems in sight sometimes we feel lost inside an inner universe 
and our senses intermingle, giving us a chance to reach out to an unexpected
reality. Just like the (fake?) lost cosmonaut whose voice can be heard
at the end of this track (sampled from youtu.be/E2EtIKnxB2o), we
then feel that our identity and individuality are about to explode, and
we merge into cosmic energy, be it a temporary or permanent experience. 
The sound of the inner voice informs the body, mind, soul, spirit, both 
the objective and subjective points of perception and we remember that 
inside ourselves there is a microcosm of resource as vast as the cosmos. 
That is to … see (a) sound. A nugget of pure wisdom & guidance.
