Welcome to the 22nd chapter of the monthly Ambient Sessions presented by Deep Electronics.
This month we present what can be described as the current 'collected works' by Jeremy Clarke and his collaboration with SVSh.  A gorgeous long player, taking us on a journey through a mystical landscape.  It is indeed the landscape of the 'everyday', but not as we know it.  It is, however, a landscape as we could know it, if we gave it our full attention.

As Jeremy has previously stated, 'In our blinkered, urban hurrying, we've stopped attending - to anything that is outside of our own 'purpose'.  What doesn't serve us, doesn't matter.  When we lose sight of the small details, of the incidental, we risk losing a sense of the sacred.  And in so doing, risk losing ourselves.
There is a quiet, meticulous, fragile world that coexists with our own dailiness.  We need to look and listen for it.  It is offering us something - about itself, about us.'

Ambient Sessions # 22 - Jeremy Clarke - with SVSh

The last few months I've been working on two mixes for the great guys of "Nature Tales" ( https://soundcloud.com/naturetales). So a lot of effort, tracklisting, samplings, fieldrecordings & a lot of fun. This mix here is a whole different thing. Some wonderful tracks from so many good tracks that I've been carrying around in my mind and heart for so long and not so long.
It is a more simple thing, Track on Track on Track. But so beautiful music. Quite different & yet fitting, I think. More percussive , groovy & dreamy Tracks.

Dreamy Prophets I

Mysteries of the Deep is proud to present the first chapter in a three-part seasonal anthology series, capturing a range of work from artists who have inspired or contributed to the project since its inception. This cohesive first chapter builds upon itself organically in a clear arc, offering listeners a sonic outpouring that is sparse, delicate and tonal. These are lullabies of presence.

Part one in the series humbly boasts an accomplished array of artists, opening with an oceanic meditation from Aleski Perälä. It then moves into tracks from Andrew Pekler, Earthen Sea, James A. Reeves, LDY OSC, label staple William Selman, and Mysteries founder Grant Aaron, amongst other notable artists. As if an ode to the season of its release, these pieces retain a natural, generative quality. Think cirrus clouds moving against blue sky or the pale lavender of twilight. Each arrangement stays situated within the realm of air, of ether, presenting a world that is dreamlike and essential.

Mysteries of the Deep is a New York-based record label, podcast, and event series — focused on ambient & experimental music in various forms. Mysteries — as fans lovingly call it — is concerned with exploration of unknown realms, and its focus, in addition to showcasing a dynamic spectrum of electronic music from foremost artists in the field, is to thoughtfully engage its audience. 

Conceptualized in 2011, Mysteries began as a podcast series that, now in its eleventh year, has hosted an array of mixes and original works. The project has since evolved, expanding into a curated global event series and record label.
