This was originally a song that debuted as part of an album from a game called Hiveswap. The "band" is a bunch of aliens so the lyrics were too.

I created my own version in English from scratch

I did call this 'everDay', but that felt pretty lame.

I think I'm satisfied with the result though. This is the first little guy that I've written the music and lyrics for - and sang for. Not usually too happy with my own singing voice, but whatevs. I'm happy with it

Mirage of Empathy

For my final in Music Theory I had to compose a song that followed all of the old part-writing rules composers used back in the day. My sister had the idea for a song based on one of her stories whose notes spelled out 'F-A-D-E-D C-A-G-E'.
I decided to give it a try for my final - thus exponentially complicating the project. But hey - I think it turned out pretty dang good.

Showtime and Aggrieve are two songs from the Homestuck series that are introduced with 'Play a haunting refrain.'

Well it annoyed me that these two songs really had no connection whatsoever, so I made one myself.

There's a fantasy book I read recently wherein a character played a ballad for another character. This is my recreation based on the description and lyrics as given in the book.

It's not nearly the whole thing, so maybe I'll have a second part at some point.
