Originally from Hampton VA, MK moved to Clarksville TN by way of military where he served in the Army at Fort Campbell Ky. He is also a Veteran who was deployed to Kuwait and Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. He has traveled the country spreading the  message of the gospel and the message of Hip Hop transcending what society calls mainstream in pop culture. MK desires to reach the nations with the message of the cross and have a voice within the community that spreads the message of unity and love through Hip Hop. MK also wants to be as transparent as possible to show the world that being a Christian doesn't mean we have to be perfect but we have a God who is perfecting us everyday if we allow Him to. His music also focuses on societal issues such as racism and violence within communities. He has released his highly anticipated album "Unspoken Words" in 2009 and his most recent to date release " Louder" which is a follow up to "Unspoken Words" released in 2017. MK has also released several mixtapes(Fire Starter Vol 1, Retrospect V1, New Beginnings) and collaborative projects with artists such as Pac Tha Innovator, Jarard Kenneth, Toney Dabney and Larry Rodgers to name a few. He is currently working on the second installment of the Fire Starter mixtape series which deals with being a presence or force in the communicate that promotes positive change. "It's all about impacting a life. If I can influence one person to think about their eternity or think about how they can change the life of someone else in a positive manner, I am doing what God called me to do and fulfilling my purpose."
