MysteryY2K - Mechsuit [WIP]

I will now explain the intricate lore behind this photo. I was having three friends over for pad thai, and it was the first time I was going to have friends over for dinner in my new apartment. I had made pad thai a month before and had half a bottle of pad thai sauce and half a pack of shoelace noodles I had bought from the asia mart across the train station. You know the one, the one with the calendars with Indian deities on the wall by the counter.

I dont like wasting food, but I end up hoarding stock food items only to find them years later when they're expired. So it would be so satisfying if that half a noodle pack and sauce turned out to be the perfect amount for four people. But I chickened out and bought extra noodles at the super market.

are you still reading? its another stupid anecdote. The story is not going to improve from here on out. anyway I had been keeping a melon on my counter for like well over a month. It was neatly wrapped in plastic like you would see in a asian supermarket, so I figured that had increased its longivity, because it didn't look like it had started to rot at all. I was just always too lazy to prepare the thing, but figured tonights the night. So i slice the badboy in half, and was left speechless. The melon that had been hanging out in the kitchen turned out to be a giant grapefruit. My sister asked me if I didn't know what a pomelo was. She offered to show me how to prepare it, bacause it could be finicky to get the fruity parts out. It was like a mummified dry citrus fruit, that had most of its moisture driven out of it to preserve it. I dont like grapefruit at all, but this I really liked. It was like a tolerable grapefruit. I had a bowl of it left the day after, an was snacking on it daily for a week after. And it turned out all the ingredients I added to the pad thai, made it so there was enough for four people (scrambled eggs, chicken, bell pebber, beansprouts, no extra noodles), and there was even a portion left I could reheat for dinner the next day. And so I went and grabbed my emergency noodles. But when i picked them up, they had turned into a big blob of dry noodles, and so I ended up throwing them in the trash, and I couldn't believe it, they fit perfectly into the carved out pomelo shell. I knew right there and then, I had to comemorate that moment with a song.
