You can catch Dj Ark aka Ark3r playing his favorite music since the millennium. Through the years he developed his unique approach to the DJ booth and dancers on the floor. Numerous personal and audio experiences, sucking inspiration through various mediums including much-beloved vinyl records and studio work moved him to develop new projects and attractiveness of open space in the limelight electronics scene.

Most often you can catch him on his own events which organizes around the world called WellWet and TM Tækeover in Romania Ark’s main inspirations coming from actual underground electronic scene whilst keeping the inspiration from a residency in Romania. The influence of these talented producers & DJs can be heard in his vibrant style, which combines fun with gradations in euphoria for instant mixes and a variety of rhythms and sounds.

In his addition panoply of foreign elements encounter a whole range of music styles, covering everything from slo-mo beats, dubby sound, microhouse, deep love of actual house & techno to stone-cold classics of Chicago & Detroit sound. Trough the years you could catch him across the mother earth in: USA, VIETNAM, MEXICO, COLOMBIA, GERMANY, FRANCE, BELGIUM, ROMANIA, CROATIA, SLOVAKIA, HUNGARY, GREECE, ITALY, ALBANIA !

There is a big black heart in Barcelona that it is still beating. Three weeks later, we’re still digesting the magic that was the fourth edition of Mostra festival. From the most intimate listening moments to collective catharsis on the dancefloor, this year was something else.

Starting from the end this year, we’re proud to present the recorded closing set from Mostra's resident ABSIS, who delivered a deeply emotional finale that distilled everything Mostra stands for: a blend of force, finesse, energy and passion — all woven into one.

Across four editions, countless moments, different days and stages, ABSIS has always been there: reading the different dance floors, adapting, connecting the dots between sound and feelings. Being a resident is more than just playing; it’s embodying the festival’s pulse, giving it identity and continuity, and raising the collective experience to another level.

If you’ve journeyed with Mostra through the years, you know how central ABSIS (alongside Timnah and Patrick Russell) has been to shaping that Mostra spirit. If you haven’t yet, you may find the chance next year.

And now, for the first time: ABSIS closing the festival. A powerful tribute to what it means to support the local scene, not just by listing names from the city, but by creating moments like this one that matters.

As the head of Lumière Noire Records, CHLOÉ has been instrumental in developing a platform where the most contemporary electronic artists can thrive. The Parisian DJ/producer’s forward-thinking spirit has enabled her to collate an eclectic roster producing beautifully innovative sounds that’ll be just as suited to museums, installations and art exhibits as they are at dancefloors, clubs and festivals.

LAUER’s single ‘H00V’ will act as the introduction on this mini-VA series release on the 23rd May, with the full package featuring tracks from Paresse, Costello and an exclusive collaboration with CHLOÉ and Destiino will be out on the 6th June.

Paresse’s ‘SEM EMS’ opens the release with the genre-splicing Stockholm native completing the VA’s impressive cast of contributors. A methodically designed arrangement of dub-laced melodies and motorised grooves, its choppy mix of low-end and digitalised undertones revolves uninterrupted with woofer shaking intent before the beat comes to an abrupt halt.

Bordeaux native, Costello is renowned for his versatile productions, on his track ‘Fresh Flesh’ he incorporates a jagged, fractured melody that bumps alongside haunted organ strings that permeate each breakdown. With nods to dark disco and minimal house throughout, the unpredictability of the VA’s opener sets a truly intriguing precedent as for what’s to follow.

A long-time collaborator of CHLOÉ’s, Yuksek revives his mysterious Destiino alias to collaborate with her on ‘Venere’. Feverish and choppy from the get-go, it features far-out melodics that click together to produce a wonderfully weird amalgamation of hissing synths, chunky bass notes, and a series of mystifying effects that snap and pop across its stuttering, robotic soundscape.

Frankfurt renowned DJ/producer LAUER who had already contributed a track to the label’s ‘From Above Vol.1’ compilation back in 2018, adds a garage-like edge to the VA with his track ‘H00V’ to act as the teaser single on the 23rd May. A stomping maelstrom of percussion underpinned by a nose-diving, mottled bassline makes up the core of this 00s-era throwback, which rigidly sticks to the 4x4 blueprint as bells ring, snares snap and laser-strobe effects flash to create a darkly crafted but still vibrant composition.
