Primordial Podcast - EPISODE 1 - AVM

Brazilian/Australian DJ Producer https://soundcloud.com/a-v-m is a music healer and dear friend and brother of Desert Raven.  

AVM's path involves the way of "Hoʻoponopono".   During his time living in Hawai'i, he was introduced to this way of living, this way of spiritual/emotional healing and and growth.  It is a path and a way of thinking and feeling. 
 
Hoʻoponopono is defined in the Hawaiian Dictionary as:

(a) "To put to rights; to put in order or shape, correct, revise, adjust, amend, regulate, arrange, rectify, tidy up make orderly or neat, administer, superintend, supervise, manage, edit, work carefully or neatly; to make ready, as canoemen preparing to catch a wave."

(b) "Mental cleansing: family conferences in which relationships were set right (hoʻoponopono) through prayer, discussion, confession, repentance, and mutual restitution and forgiveness."

Literally, hoʻo is a particle used to make an actualizing verb from the following noun. Here, it creates a verb from the noun pono, which is defined as: "...goodness, uprightness, morality, moral qualities, correct or proper procedure, excellence, well-being, prosperity, welfare, benefit, true condition or nature, duty; moral, fitting, proper, righteous, right, upright, just, virtuous, fair, beneficial, successful, in perfect order, accurate, correct, eased, relieved; should, ought, must, necessary."

Ponopono is defined as "to put to rights; to put in order or shape, correct, revise, adjust, amend, regulate, arrange, rectify, tidy up, make orderly or neat."

So hoʻoponopono can be translated literally as "to make right" or "to make good".

In this journey, AVM takes us deep into the core of our selves, to the roots of our heart, to help heal the deepest wounds and to help us reconcile with our true selves, which in turn, will help us reconcile with our tribe, our community, our family.

This is serious medicine music, and we hope you experience the true healing power and sacred energies that fill this sound, this story, this journey.  Prepare yourselves for a truly transformative experience!  May the healing waves cleanse you!

Emotions and intuition, in a healthy sense, help us discern the deep spiritual path.  Music is powerful force to achieve this with.

Hailing from Denver, Colorado, USA, https://soundcloud.com/djcharliebuckets has a long and storied relationship with music.  It started as a young boy listening to the radio and making his own mixtapes on to cassettes. At age 13, he was gifted a guitar for Christmas and from there, taught himself to play by listening to said mixtapes.  This method allowed him to train his ear from a very young age, a gift that has served him well in his latest musical journey.  

Shortly thereafter, he was introduced to electronic music when he joined a group of friends on a journey to his first rave.  Immediately he became “Candy Kid”, and the permeating ideal of “PLUR” was ingrained.  The raver kid within him remained dormant as he focused on building a career in the real world.  

A rebirth occurred when Charlie started venturing out in the Denver local scene reigniting his passion and reminding him of his roots.  He has since taught himself to DJ which came to him naturally as he frequently utilized his trained ear.

The next stop on the Bucket train is production as he is currently working on making music through Ableton, using a guitar as his guide after all of these years. The main goal of Charlie’s music is to share his emotions in hopes of bringing happiness and love (while occasionally teetering on the dark side) to the world en masse.

Desert Raven is a musical artist who, for his whole life, has had a deep affinity to dance, to the harmonic and melodic nature of sound, and to the healing and inspiring power of music. Based in Denver, CO, USA, he has grown up and lived around the world, and uses his life experiences in many cultures as the foundation and root of his sound and worldview.

He seeks to create soundscapes with depth and layering of emotion, with extended build-ups and climaxes. He works with music that is primarily longer form and believes that, like our own deeper feelings, good, deep music takes time to surface. As a storyteller, he embraces the epic storytelling tradition, so his music feels epic in scope and very much like a story.

He seeks the mystical groove in all sounds. His signature style has grown and matured into an organic, ethnic, psychedelic, trippy sound, with an ancient feel, evoking a mystical vision experience. He has released songs in several genres, from organic house to downtempo to slowtech to psybient to progressive house to melodic techno.  He seeks to bring the audience close, in a place where trust, love, and freedom of spirit are paramount.

His personal approach to composition and production is to infuse deeper sounds into all he does, to evoke nature and dreams. He believes ethnic, traditional instruments should be used as much as possible. He seeks to find and bring the listener to a place of natural, spiritual illumination, where the listener encounters healing, encouragement, and divine purpose.

As with the moon and its far side, to deny our darkness would be to deny that which makes us whole. Veytik—a veteran combat engineer turned audio engineer, producer, and DJ—embraces this duality through his music. His ever-evolving sound adjusts its focus across a spectrum of moods that both shape and are shaped by his very essence.

As a producer for almost 10 years, the Art Vibes label boss has been connecting with others on the path of music as therapy. The resulting listen is often haunting and thought-provoking, resonating a depth and pain that Veytik has come to seek safety in, not from.

Veytik’s style continuously evolves alongside his own growth and his response to world events. Featured on a variety of labels. His sound wavers between eclectic influences, from ‘80s, synth-infused cinematic, to the heyday of ecstatic trance music and more recent deep, melodic, and organic house sounds. His fusion of piano, guitar & sound design is always handcrafted, every project made from an internal emotion and voice within. Connection with his sound is critical.

But how long is Now? ∞ In zijn’s family of origin, music has been heard since prehistoric times as the essential art of all the arts, which were omnipresent from an early age. He was literally born with the talent of the sound artist. Some instruments shaped the career and the basic emotional feeling. When he was growing up, the first attempts came with old, cheap CD-Players to Mix Techno. And later then, Downtempo discovered zijn’s constant 'permacreative' urge to create and so began a timeless journey through electronic worlds of sound, sometimes melodious, sometimes deep, sometimes hypnotic, sometimes colorfully mixed and then again simply and with organic influences.

We want these DJ sets created with serious storytelling, with a sacred message and the power of the ecstatic vision, whereby the storyteller enters a deep emotional state of peace, vision, revelation, and emotional unity in the heart with the eternal and life-giving love of God. The storyteller should include mystical sounds throughout, from great ethno-organic, organic house, slowtech, psychill, psydub, psybient, ambient, downtempo, progressive, dubtech, melodic techno, and whatever else encapsulates the otherworldly found in this world. :)

Taking from the mission and success of the Primordial Grooves project, this will take us back to the beginning energies of mankind, thus "primordial" energy. A exploration of the heart and soul and mind and body to find what makes us connected since the very beginning of mankind. What do we share as human beings and various tribes? This energy empowers and also heals us to the core. It is the life force, so the mix will have that original life force and be share in the way of all stories of the ancient storytelling oral tradition, which make up true history that is passed down from generation to generation.  This brings us to our innermost sanctums of our hearts. This brings us to God!
