I'm excited to share that my new ambient album “Ocoyo” is out on Desert Trax today, which is a tribute to the incredible bio diversity of the jungles of Guatemala and rainforest of Ecuador, and the teachings I've received from various lineages. Through this music, I aim to express my deep appreciation for the natural beauty of our planet. This album is dedicated to Delfin & Cesario Piaguaje of the Siekopai tribe, true masters of the Amazon, who have blessed me with their wisdom in the Maloka. The essence of the lotus, the rose, as well as other plants and fungi, have been woven into the fabric of each track on this album. I am grateful for the wisdom and guidance of these allies, and for their assistance in the creation of this music. I am continually in awe of the incredible power and knowledge that can be found within the plant kingdom.

I am in love with bassliness,sunsets and world rythyms!

Mystic Iris, a musical journey born and bred in the vibrant city of Istanbul, Turkiye, in 2018, draws inspiration from the pulsating rhythms of the metropolis and the mystical allure of its ancient streets. Mystic Iris infuses her music with a blend of oriental samples, ethereal melodies, and psychedelic sounds, creating a unique experience.

After moving to Brazil, Mystic Iris's musical journey took on new dimensions, as she immersed herself in the rich tapestry of rhythms and shamanic trance elements that permeate the vibrant culture of the country. Inspired by the pulsating beats of Brazilian percussion and the energy of the indigenious culture, Mystic Iris delved deeper into the realms of trance and transformation, infusing her mixes and remixes with the primal heartbeat of the earth itself.

Now based in Salvador, Bahia, Mystic Iris continues to weave her musical magic, drawing inspiration from the rhythmic pulse of the city and the ancient traditions that echo through its streets.
