This was written for a blog poetry Radio Show, to be aired on the 7th of March 2025.  It is a remake of the prevuos poem i wrote

LIfe's Corridor

I spent decades on my journey
down the corridor of life experiences.
There has been valleys, hills and oceans,
underground caves and tall fences.

I’ve witnessed the heavens and pits of hell,
felt glory, despair and crippling pain.
Crawled through disappointing decisions,
slept in golden palaces with nothing to gain

I have passed my youth and approached insanity,
and swam in oceans of love holding on to hate.
The weight of time burned into my soul,
without a map of the year or final date.

Made choices of each room I have entered,
seeking lost thoughts or unheard-of answers.
Only to return to the corridor of suspicion
without sound or vision of dancers.

Watched hope beg as it died so painfully,
and left yearning as it laid motionlessly lost.
Forgetting how to remember what has been,
knowing my space is not free of cost.

Mentally scorned without guidance or purpose,
while listening to my screams of years spent.
Yet, I still rush to the next level of incompetence,
with balance from the fear of reality bent.

The hallways of the future to be explored,
inside elevators speeding around to tomorrow.
While no one will turn to see my helplessness,
I continue down the life corridor dripping sorrow.
