Le 1er MAI

Le premier mai à Saint-Tropez
le long des quais des ouvriers ,
rêvant de yachts et de voiliers,
défilent sans manifester,
défilent sans manifester .

Le premier mai à Saint-Tropez,
tout au long jour férié chômé,
ils admirent les très beaux jouets
de ceux pour qui ils ont tant sué .

Ils espèrent devenir patrons
sans chercher d'autres solutions,
à leur tour regarder défiler
le premier mai à Saint-Tropez .

Sur l'eau glauque un soleil blafard,
des dollars qui flottent par milliards,
pour ces navires aux vitres noires
combien d'hommes ont perdu l'espoir, 
combien d'hommes ont perdu l'espoir .

A quel paradis ou enfer
ont-ils pu confier leurs affaires
symboles d'une réussite volée
exposés comme dans un musée .

Pour les uns, un rêve, une chimère
pour les autres un grain de poussière
quelle vertu prive d'embarcadère
celui qui rêve azur et mer ,
celui qui rêve azur et mer .

soulevez la poussière, cherchez dans les décombres,
les choix et les promesses n’étaient qu’illusion.
Toutes les choses auxquelles il faut s’habituer
avant que l’obsolescence vienne tout effacer.

It turns out i won 1st place in the Biome Jam -and- got #1 in all the sub-scores too. wowow that never happens for me.  I did however push pretty hard on production where I took the pixabay environmental pig sounds and then ran individual vocoder synths for different MixCraft synths on every single pig sound separately, which created a rather rich experience...
