This concept has been in development since 2015 with over 200 minutes running time.

Amos’ Flat is a three part album by VASE in collaboration with Opal Tapes & INDEX:Records: an odyssey of sonic manoeuvres through ambient, bass and IDM. This trilogy reveals VASE dissecting compositions down to sparse rhythmic explorations, disruptive power shifts and nebulous bass bliss.

Amos’ Flat: Room 1 will be sculpted into the physical form of a 12” vinyl record, released by INDEX:Records, followed by Opal Tapes reeling out Room 1 & 2 on double Cassette Tape. 

Room 3 transcends into the digital, where VASE passes the brush to fellow artists, to rework into their own decorative pieces. Featured artists for Room 3 include Basic house, Fis, Katsunori Sawa, Shelley Parker and PYUR

OMIC is a new side-project from Ian McDonnell - better know as electronic music producer and DJ
Eomac - exploring the experimental, the unusual, the idiosyncratic side of his output. Inspired by the idea
of 'outsider' music and explorative producers like Jim O'Rourke and Arthur Russell, OMIC approaches
music without the constraints of genre and style or the 'dancefloor' considerations and conventions that
are usually present in Ian's output. Off-key vocal experiments, downtempo electronica, ambient, noise,
pop, techno - expect all, any and none of the above.

He will release an EP titled "Songs of Hope and Frustration" on limited edition cassette in June.

Helenah’s second full length outing on MONTAGE comes as a collections of songs made between 2016 and 2017. The tracks are bundled through heavy processing by various compression, eq and tape emulations. 

Compressed ’16 ’17 is an experiment on ways to collect and group songs from different eras and various sound palettes through effects, mastering and post-processing. The album swings between beat-tape for never to be sang stoner rap, ambient film music for projects never matured and weirdo-pop eager for a 2020 summer non-party.

Over 1 hour in length, this album can at times be both a warming easy-listener and a heavy journey to sit through, compressing space, time and sound in the heavy post-processing. Helenah managed to weigh in inspirations ranging from Actress and Madlib through old-school Western scores via raves, football anthems, twisted elevator music and lo-fi bangers. It’s eclectic, chaotic and diverse, but he managed to connect them both in sound and vibe.

Already the 10th outing on MONTAGE, we’re super happy to release this somewhat light-hearted but still touching tape. It might be the most poppy album we released until now, or it might be the most experimental. We’re still in dubio.
