Reflecting

This is a collaboration: The highly talented and groovy Californian Bruce @conover supplied the fab backing track which I cut up, rearranged and constructed a song over. We conversed throughout, whilst I added the melody, vocals, lyrics, all the brass and the trumpet cadenza, extra percussion, strings, re-arrangement, mix, et al, all inspired by the backtrack and discussions with BC.

I was knocked out by the amazing input from Tony and Rick on this song of mine. This was a really productive collaboration with creative notes coming in on each refining mix until we all signed it off! The talent poured into this song of mine from these guys, well I can't thank them enough...

Creating new music is therapy for my soul. Radiohead is my biggest influence so don't be surprised if you hear some similarities. Other influences: Todd Rundgren, Brian Eno, Elliott Smith, Wilco, Sigur Ros, The Flaming Lips, Bill Fay etc.
