Journey's End

A little something in an approximation of the Tangerine Dream/Berlin School style, with maybe some Carpenter thrown in to confuse things. Really love the tightness of the MOS-Lab moog modules on that pluck bass.

Flute: Omnisphere
Bass drone : Korg Mono/Poly, latched (introduced with flute)
High sequence: Kilpatrick Phenol, Korg SQ-1 (first sequence heard)
Classic-sounding sequence: 3-osc MOS-Lab Moog-style Modular, SQ-1, El Capistan (second sequence, introduced with drums)
Drums: Roland TR-8, clocked from SQ-1
Resonance sequence: Yamaha CS-15, two 8 step sequences, one per oscillator. Korg SQ-1 (tuning went all funky on the CS-15, but I kept it in anyway)
Explosion: Camel Audio Alchemy

Everything except flute and explosion recorded live in one take into Cubase 8 on Windows 10.

Elsewhere - Burning Man Sunrise 2015

A composer of original music, Kalin Ivanov (www.reverbnation.com/kalin) works both independently and in collaboration with other artists. Beyond Rites (www.reverbnation.com/beyondritesproject) is a project with a Bulgarian singer bringing together an unusual mix of vocals and ambient compositions while his individual work combines electronic and soundtrack influences. Kalin has recently completed a soundtrack for a hypnotherapy CD.

'Solar Pulse' uses the 002 as the backbone of the track supported by Access Virus TI2 Polar, Nord Lead 3, Waldorf Blofeld, Korg Radias and Moog Slim Phatty. The 002 is used for the main arpeggios and sequences, most of the effects (noise) and some of the pads.  The 002 arpeggios are linked by midi to sounds from other synths as this gives more flexibility.
