Montréal born and raised zi! is a lifelong music lover & dancer. An avid digger, they are inspired by varying sounds and styles, adapting their craft to what their ear responds to. zi!'s work with online radio show and mix series Missed Connections allows them to further explore their diverse musical tastes by curating unique and thoughtful sets from friends around the world. With friends locally, they formed the queer DJ collective Flush, which has been organizing musically forward, community centered events for nearly 2 years. zi! is quickly becoming a mainstay in Montréal's vibrant underground scene.

"When I prepare a mix, I often pick one idea and expand on it for the whole session. This one explores a combination of bass, breaks, percussion, with elements of dub and world music. This sound just makes my body dance; it has something akin to the beats I grew up dancing to, melded with the more forward thinking production I find myself leaning into on today's dancefloors. Hope u enjoy<3"
