Supa collab with Loop Diggers III

I've read enough about memory to know that the more memories we have to fit into our brain, the more they lose accuracy - is it a dysfunction to remember certain things more fondly? How am I supposed to tell the difference? I have always tried to counter the idea of 'the grass is greener', and to face my present situation with as much positivity as I can. But what if that part of my brain is right? Maybe things were better before, or could be better if I worked to recapture something I now so desperately miss... Maybe those moments are truly unobtainable now and all I can do is enjoy the feeling of remembering what once brought me joy.

A subtle atmospheric soundtrack piece.

It's got this peaceful vibe but also a note of anxious urgency underneath. We can perceive 10 million shades of green because we are predators. I wanted to present a more complex pastoral picture, nature as it truly is - an endless recycling of the suns energy. That, I believe, is the true interpretation of the celtic concept of reincarnation. The beauty is the efficiency and strangeness of the system, not some imagined rural ideal. That is my understanding of the divine.

Bird Of Night

The Alencon crash of 1790 is such an interesting story I decided to write an electronic  atmospheric piece of music with spoken word about it. The French language is so musical it seemed perfect for this. I processed the voice over recording to replicate the sound of a reel-to-reel recording from 1967 (think of the 1974 movie The Conversation). The wonderful character voice-over in French is performed by Rayan Hinni (https://www.fiverr.com/bonibor)

I was surprised to discover this fun story about the first documented Alien encounter in 1790. It seems that in 1967, Antonio Fenoglio, a teacher at the University of Bologna (Italy), discovered in the archives of the French Academy of Sciences in Paris a police report that documented a UFO crash that occurred in 1790. Officer Labeuf, who was sent from Paris to the Alençon area in the summer of 1790 to thoroughly investigate a “dangerous incident” near the city gates, which had many respected witnesses. When Labeuf reached his destination and interviewed the locals, the following story emerged:

This is the report from 1790 (and the spoken word in French):  I was sent from Paris to the Alençon in the summer of 1790 to investigate what was described to me as a “dangerous incident” near the city gates.  Once at Alenco I interviewed many of the locals, this is the story they all shared:  At 5 a.m. on June 12, several farmers saw a huge ball that seemed to be surrounded by flames. They thought the ball was a balloon such as the Montgolfier brother's balloon. Then next they saw the object falling rapidly from the sky with a whistling sound emanating from it.  The balloon slowed down, made a few twitches, and fell onto the top of the hill, uprooting the trees along the slope. The heat emanating from it was so strong that soon the grass and trees caught fire. The peasants managed to contain the fire as it would have spread throughout the territory. 

In the evening, warmth was still emanating from the sphere, and then that's when something very unusual happened. 

Two mayors, a doctor, and three other government officials arrived with dozens of peasants all were there as witnesses of this. The sphere, which was large enough to accommodate a carriage, was not affected by this whole fall. 

The phenomenon sparked such curiosity that people came from all over the area to see it. Then suddenly, in the sphere, a door opened, and, interestingly, a person like us came out of it. But this man was dressed strangely, in a tight-fitting suit, and, seeing all this crowd around the sphere, he told them a few incomprehensible words and then fled into the forest. The villagers instinctively stepped aside in fear, and it saved their lives, because soon after, the sphere exploded in complete silence, throwing shards all over the place, and these pieces burned until they turned to powder. 

Researchers began to look for the mysterious man, but he seemed to have completely disappeared.
