I make all the sounds my self including drums and FXs, i think it's essential for full artistic expression.
Also, when i started this a blackout hit my entire city and i didn't save the project yet, from which i learned i'll start saving a new project on the desktop as "untitled" as soon as i start it, reason is that Ableton can't recover my Sylenth1 patches if the project isn't saved. That's were the song got it's name. If you like it i might finish it, let me know ;)

The first contest I participated with Digital Empire Records was fun so I decided to go for another one :)

When the original mix features and acapella I like to use only that and forget about the melodies, unless there's some riff I'd like to keep.

I opened Massive, started crafting some sound to put underneath the vocal and came up with a super heavy bass. 
I programmed it so it follows Jesse's flow in the verse and then plays it's own groove alone in the hook.

For drums I used some super compressed electro house drums with some nice house loop, a nice sounding mixture.
