N-DuRance crashed onto the Miami Beach electronic music scene en route from his hometown Detroit, via North Carolina School of the Arts in 1996.
Entranced by the events partaken at Woodstock 1994, he immediately fell in love with Jungle & Drum n Bass. Collecting mix tapes like golden audio treasures from the likes of DieselBoy, Soul Slinger, Odi, 187, and Roni Size were only the catalyst for starting the out of control obsession into bass. After placing in an open dj competition at Spec’s Music in South Beach, N-Durance was invited to make guest spots on 107.1 WOMB FM, Miami Beach 
 and at the local Drum n Bass weekly “BeatCamp” as well. 
From 97-99, he held various spots and residencies at such clubs as GrooveJet, Liquid, Zanzibar, Amnesia, The Mission and also made numerous underground appearances at venues all over south Florida as well as playing at the very first Ultra Music Festival in Miami Beach.

 After high school was over, hearing stories of the intriguing promise of the underground northern electronic music scenes, he made the trek back up north. Jumping feet first into the Detroit scene, he quickly gained respect, which led to the joining of the North American Rave Culture tour with stops spanning across the U.S. and Canada. Among the weekly travels in the underground, holding residencies at the old warehouse  on the docks in Toronto, The House in Detroit, and guest spots at Crobar in Chicago and Motor in Detroit,
N-Durance still found time to attend the Recording Institute of Detroit. After gaining admission to Full Sail University in Orlando, the trip back south to Florida began in 2001.

Since returning to the home scene, he has played numerous events, contests, clubs, parties, and radio shows all over the south and southeast until finally deciding to settle down with a family in 2004.   

The hiatus is over though...
Now, he's back out of retirement for one last trip around, promising to do it bigger and harder than ever before. Production is the primary focus, while playing out has taken a back seat with the grossly overpopulated dj culture of today. Quality over quantity, & fun over business..Staying true to his roots as an Original Junglist.
