We started Clubwerks 6 months ago so we could showcase the work of a couple of artists who impressed us with their novel music-making powers. Many more appeared on the way so it grew fast into a label with a busy release schedule for 2015 that will also feature music by some of the new talent on this compilation.

The Clubwerks Christmas Compilation is our kind of a family reunion for the heads but also, objectively speaking, an arsenal of novelties and functional club tracks wrapped up neatly in a cohesive set. These are tracks to be experienced in dark rooms or open fields, so what better way to show them off than in a sequence. There are never enough good dance tracks in a DJ's collection and all of these could easily stand out in any so we hope you'll be hearing these in a club near you.

We've been friends with our newest Desert Hearts Records artist, Ché, since 9th grade growing up in North County San Diego. He's always been one of the most talented and passionate musicians we've ever known. With a background in more indie sounding music, we were blown away when he first started showing us some of the deep house tracks he'd been working on. It's our pleasure to finally share with the world Ché's debut EP on Desert Hearts Records titled Transformation. Arguably the most sophisticated release on the label so far, we know Ché is going to have a long, love-filled future with us.

Our first release from 2009. Sublime Balearic remix of the Radiohead classic. Released as a limited edition of 500 1-sided 12" singles in hand screen printed sleeves.
This was one of the few remixes/re-edits that made it into the top of the DJ History end of year chart.
