Testarossa is third studio album by Brinstaar. He says that this album is dedicated to redheaded blue-skinned Goddess. This work is reflecting Brinstaar's deep and emotional chase for the elusive moment of infinite bliss that keeps him alive and conscious. 

While using mainly processed guitars for Infotswetock and synths for Mielisss, Brinstaar uses a lot of acoustic instruments and field recorded sounds in Testarossa now, 
thus creates much more intimate compositions. Of course, his specialty mesmerizing synth parts and precisely constructed guitar timbres are still here too.

On Crystal Children, he lets out some of his most in-demand dubplates (‘Thinkk Star’, ‘Ultraviolet’) while also showing his sentimental side on the gut-wrenching ‘Daisy Chain’ and Julia Juban collaboration ‘Paradise’.

After six Inkke originals, the digital version of Crystal Children closes on remixes by Gage, whose ‘Telo’ has emerged as one of 2014’s most talked about club tracks, and JT the Goon, who turns ‘Paradise’ into a six-minute black key epic. ‘Motion’ is the new EP release on PAN’s sublabel CODES from Belgian producer SKY H1.

Having previously collaborated with producers and collectives such as Bala Club and Creamcake, Brussels-based SKY H1 has since performed at the likes of multi-media 3HD Festival and Amsterdam’s Sonic Acts to high acclaim for her distinctly forward-thinking sound.

Drawing from a background of widely-varying musical tastes from Ambient to Grime, her own work is an amalgamation of emotive compositions of orchestral Elysian synths, often displaced with sparse percussive elements.

The new record, ‘Motion’ is a highly personal endeavour, constructed from the results of a turbulent time - where she describes it as ‘a flash of her emotional state over the last few months’. “It signi-fies leaving behind a period in my life and stepping into something new.” She explains.

Moving through bleak soundscapes layering vaporous choral synths, ethereal vocals and glassy, lucid tones crafted in complex structures, the record bears moments of melancholy as well as joy on tracks like ‘Tell Me’ and ‘I Think I Am’. “It's about going through the different stages of grief and accepting the positive effects the loss of someone can have on you.” She says. “It's about experiencing an intensely emotional time with a lot of ups and downs, and I think this is transparent in the way the tracks are ordered.”.

The familiar and the foreign collide on “Flute Worship,” taken from Akimbo’s Sun Moon & Five Peaks EP on Tonal Unity. The new release is the result of Akimbo, an alumni of the 2011 Academy in Madrid, living for the last couple of years in Korea and exploring the country’s rich heritage of traditional music. An 80 BPM club tune with audible inspiration taken from zouk and jungle, “Flute Worship” also highlights the Piri (피리), letting the unique sound of the double-reed flute take the melodic lead.
