Demo Lagu berjudul Pretend ini merupakan sebuah lagu yang terinspirasikan dari dua band favoritku  yaitu The Adams dan Last Dinosaurs. 

The Adams,  band yang aku ketahui sejak munculnya mereka sebagai soundtrack film Janji Joni selalu membuatku terngiang-ngiang dengan lagu-lagunya. 
Begitu juga dengan Last Dinosaurs. Sejak album In A Million Years sampai dengan album terbaru mereka Wellness mengisi hari-hariku selama di Bandung. 

Sebenarnya secara tidak sengaja lagu ini pun ternyata mempunyai progresi kunci yang sama dengan lagu mereka yang berjudul Wurl. 
Walaupun beda kuncinya tetapi jika didengarkan yang paling mendekati menurutku adalah lagu mereka yang berjudul Wurl. Karena sebenarnya aku juga mem-favoritkan dan selalu mengulang lagu Wurl itu sih hehehe

Kemudian tanpa disengaja pula, ternyata ketukan drumnya ini mirip dengan lagu The Adams yang berjudul Kau di sana hahaha padahal sih influence genjrengan gitarnya lagu  konservatif hehehe. Jadi aku mau permisi sama kakak-kakak The Adams dan Last Dinosaurs minta maaf sebagai fans berat kalian kalo misalkan lagu yang aku buat ini agak-agak mirip dengan lagu-lagu kalian 

Ohya di demo kali ini, aku dibantu oleh Richard Lucky. Dia adalah teman ngobrol musik ku semasa kuliah di Bandung, di demo lagu ini dia ada mengisi beberapa part lead gitar hehehe terima kasih banyak Chad . 
Ada cerita unik dibalik pengisian gitar ini. Kita tidak rekaman gitar secara langsung/ bersama-sama, jadi ceritanya aku kirim fileku ke Richard lalu dia mengisi suara gitarnya lewat handphonenya dan dibalikan kepadaku hasil rekamannya. Kemudian berkat teknologi mantap rekaman tersebut digabungin lagi deh hahaha

Rekaman vokal ini pun seperti biasa menggunakan handphone seorang teman, lalu seperti biasa dalam pembuatan lirik aku selalu dibantu oleh Rezza Castle. Xie Xie Zsa.

Saran: Kayanya sih enaknya dengernya pake headset, soalnya aku juga bikinnya pake headset hehehe
