Straight from the heart of Amsterdam’s vibrant club scene, PIV founder Prunk and RED 87 offer up a first-time collaboration with their ‘Express EP’, landing 23rd May. Featuring three original cuts and a remix from UK duo RUZE, the release captures the duo’s shared passion for soulful house grooves—delivered just in time for summer. 

Opening with the title track, ‘Express’ brings together lush synth pads, simmering hi-hats, and echoed vocal snippets, crafting a warm, hypnotic energy that reflects the pair’s signature sound. RUZE steps in to reimagine the original with a sun-soaked, transportive flair, adding vibrant textures and an irresistible late-night feel. On ‘Listen’, Prunk and RED 87 showcase their knack for stripped-back club music, layering rippling melodies and tight, luscious percussion built for both the dancefloor and the afters. Closing cut ‘Break It Down’ tips its hat to classic Hot Creations energy—funk-laced, percussive, and oozing with charm, it wraps up the EP with a high-octane flourish. 

"When I was a young Prunk, I had a Hot Creations record on my wall. I remember playing all kinds of tracks from the label over the last 15 years, and I still do. From Hot Natured and Jamie Jones to Burnski and Danny Daze. It's one of those labels that is on almost every producer's release bucket list. After a few amazing shows at Paradise Ibiza over the last summer, I am finally releasing on the label. Obviously, a dream come true, and I'm happy to do it with one of my really good friends RED 87. Leipzig-based producer and live act Atric eventually makes his debut on Stil vor Talent with the boiling-hot 'Flawless'. Through two tracks that combine the rugged drive of chrome-coated electro grooves and hi-velocity EBM bursts, Atric has us surfing rogue sines and unrelenting bass combers. First in line, the lead-single fires off a barrage of sizzling signals and abrasive snares whilst the bass unfurls like hot lava off a steep slope. Going all in on textural corrosion and steely FX machinery, the track unfolds its toxic aura with restless punch, ramping up radioactivity levels to impossibly high levels as all faces in the room shall begin to melt. Total burner, bound for peak-time duty and sustained club onslaught. Shifting gears towards a slightly chiller, playfully bouncy vibe at first, 'Solus' reveals itself as a proper, helluva bass-guided club crusher as bars fly by, cranking the pressure two notches further with every drop of its heavyweight kick pattern and raucous machine stutter. Stadium-sized epic for the ravers looking to dissolve into a magnetic bed of pure sonic euphoria. Harness the storm.
