Following his impressive performance at our first event last year March, we are thrilled to welcome back the artist for another outstanding showcase. Presenting the 81st edition of our mix series, curated by the talented VSSR.

What more can we share about Rens? He has been a well liked guest at both national and international events, showcasing his skills and leaving an impression. 

Additionally, Rens has garnered recognition for his noteworthy releases on labels such as BCCO and Synergie. As a co-founder of the Amsterdam-based collective, ANTIDOTE, he has shaped and promoted a distinct sound within a devoted community, setting him apart from his peers.

The mix, however, is different from his usual cup of tea. It's inspired by his recent back-to-back session with fellow ANTIDOTE owner, Impulse, at Aeden Berlin, and it takes a more minimal approach to the genre.

We are very honored and proud to announce that Sera J has delivered a masterpiece for our latest 403 Podcast 036. 

All the way from Thessaloniki in Greece, Sera J's journey into electronic music began at a young age. Listening to mostly House & Tech House, his brother handed him a USB filled with tracks from legends like Jeff Mills and Robert Hood. This changed his course directly. Starting with local bar gigs to organizing his own events, the turning point came when he received an invitation from his favorite artist 'Annē’, to play together at "Urania." This would have been the kickstart for his further career, it all merged now into a highly recognized name, traveling the world playing alongside big names with his own distinctive sound, while getting lovely critics for his producing work on big labels like Mutual Rytm and Planet Rhythm.

This all happened while pursuing this type of career in Greece, which wasn’t easy at all, From almost zero government support, resulting in a lack of free spaces for creatives to poor infrastructure, to the lack of a supportive community. But, over the past two years, positive transformations are happening, with Athens being a good leading example. New collectives, with fresh ideas, are injecting much-needed air into the scene, creating a supportive community. The potential for growth is there, while things are staring to get brighter on the horizon for the Greek techno scene. 

While facing challenges early on, the passion for creating his own work pushed him through. Drawing inspiration from the Detroit scene, films, documentaries and the simplicity of nature and life, his style is a fusion of powerful baselines, strong dynamics, and catchy grooves. All of his productions work and love for composing his own music has let him into creating his first Live act, premiered on PATTERN Berlin. This is a way for him to be more creative with sounds, and have more control over the music, reflecting more of his personal style and taste.

Keep a keen eye on him, exciting releases and projects are happening soon, such as being a part of the VA ‘Federation of Rytm III’ from Mutual Rytm.

Lacchesi is invited for our 181th podcast. The French dj and producer is known for his fast paced techno sets consisting of jittery melodies and nervy baselines. In his productions, he takes a more diverse approach, releasing music ranging from hard hitting techno tracks to glitchy IDM pieces or soothing ambient soundscapes. His latest EP on his label Maison Close nicely showcases this.

For this podcast, he recorded a mix geared towards fast minimalistic grooves and experimental sounds.

The deadly duo from Hannover, Lyza and Ericson, the Bonnie and Clyde of groovy techno, have firmly established themselves as a force to be reckoned with. The joint project is the lovechild of the two accomplished artists, focused on fast and driving, uplifting rhythms, using three decks to maximum effect.

Both inspired by the groove, the two have had multiple successful releases, showcasing their vision, demonstrating time and time again their credibility for the dancefloor as well as their flaming passion for the craft. Their discography includes releases on labels such as Canticle Rec., Influenced Rec. and even Room Trax, among others, appearing on compilations with Kwartz, Kaiser or Setaoc Mass. Many notable artists such as Rodhad, Rene Wise or Pan Pot have already praised their work, and they will certainly not be the last.
