Based on Förm’s “Vostok”, resident and co-founder of Disconnekt Berlin Stallo contributes to this selection with his spaced-out minimalistic adventure. Expanding the range of styles within the selection with slower pace, its deep low-end, and atmospheric sound design, this more functional approach is made for sweaty club nights – let’s go!

For more than 1 year, the Russian government under Wladimir Putin has been ruthlessly attacking the Ukraine and its people – inducing and waging a war that nobody needed. Communities, cities, and whole regions were destroyed, people assassinated, murdered, expelled, and harmed in so many ways – with more and more war crimes and atrocities to be discovered. After the military offensive, more than 18 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance in Ukraine and beyond the borders. We cannot end this war but privileged to keep on living our normal lives in central Europe, we feel the urge to help. This is why we decided to donate all proceeds of this release in favor of the people that are suffering. As trusted and experienced charity organization, UNHCR will use these donations to support the people in Ukraine as well as refugees in neighboring countries. Let us stick together and give something back to the ones that are in need.

We premiere new music from Cork based techno producer MEJMI. The rising star provides a psychedelic trip through hypnotic atmospheres on her latest offering on Faoi Thalamh Records.

MEJMI is quickly becoming one of our favourite up & coming techno acts in Ireland. MEJMI’s stripped back approach to prismatic techno production has been turning heads within the last six months. A strict approach to textured rhythms that calls on sci-fi inspirations makes a unqiue sound that is both charming and refreshing.

Aside from becoming one of Ireland’s stand-out up & coming techno producers, MEJMI has also been busy rocking dancefloors across Cork & Poland. Having headlined at the Slutty Virgin Festival and K-fest in Kerry she has also made appearances country wide playing for Cheek Eire, Blue Print Festival, Kriptik, 3ip.ka, Prospekt, Dv8, as well as more gigs forthcoming.

MEJMI’s latest offering on Faoi Thalamh Records is her best yet as she rapidly switches between pounding four to the floor rhythms to electro style broken beats. Textured synth stabs play off bleeping syncopated hits for a coursing hypnotic tool.
