Melbourne instrumental heavyweights Night Terrors offer a mind-melting mix of dark synth magic, thunderous dreamscapes and other-worldly electronica.

Featuring the haunting theremin melodies of Miles Brown (student of Russian theremin queen Lydia Kavina), vintage horror synths and powerhouse drumming, The Night Terrors have earned a reputation as one of Australia's most unusual and original acts.

The Night Terrors have toured with Hawkwind (UK), Black Mountain (CAN), Melt-Banana (JPN), Serena Maneesh (NOR) Nick Oliveri (USA), and shared the stage with Lou Reed (USA), Goblin (IT), Laurie Anderson (USA), Boris (JPN), Bardo Pond (USA), Marc Ribot (USA), Electric Electric (FR), Midnight Juggernauts (AUS), HTRK (AUS) and many more. The band has toured Europe extensively and appeared at international festivals such as VIVID Live (AUS), Polyhymnia (DE), Bracara Extreme Fest (Portugal), Denovali Swingfest (DE), For All The Cows Fest (AU) and Incubate (NL).

Following the release of two stellar EPs “The Night Terrors” and “Lightless” through Unstable Ape Records, The Night Terrors' debut full length album “Back To Zero” was released in April 2009 through Australian label EXO Records. "Back To Zero" was reissued for release in Europe/USA/Japan through TRENDKILL Recordings (France) in September 2010, and will be reissued on double 12" vinyl through Homeless Records (AUS) in early
2013.

Released in June 2012 through OSCL Records (AUS) / Seed Records (UK), "Monster / Lasers for Eyes" is the first glimpse of The Night Terrors’ new material – moving beyond the post-prog stylings of their earlier work to focus on a broader universe of warped psychedelic electronics and the darker corners of the dancefloor.

The 12″ features remixes by Berlin Italo-disco legend Antoni Maiovvi (repaying the favour for The Night Terrors’ 2011 remix of his single Murderfunk) and Australian synth legend Ash Wednesday (The Metronomes, The Models, Einstürzende Neubauten). Also included are previously unreleased live favourites Meteor Shower and Somnambulist.
